Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian as well as a writer and actress. Bea started appearing as part of the cast on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, made her debut by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. In 2012, she started to regularly appear on sitcoms and sketch shows. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, and also a part-time participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The parents of her were Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Think You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea was awarded the award to honor her father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on March 16, 1984, from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who killed himself at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she reached the age of thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea's mother Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was in charge of taking care of her and Sinead. Her family were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was a guide at The Irish National Stud in her early years. However, she knew, that racing wasn't what she wanted to be as a profession and preferred doing.
